The concept is about holding space or held space and the ontological and phenomenological aspects associated with elemental materiality. I have focused on a simple bowl shape as a symbolic representation of held space.
In both these shapes the dance of life immerses within held boundaries, lingering before exiting again. A bowl, like a building is filled then emptied, a patterned ontological performance of repetition. It is almost a magnetic pattern where the bowl or held space pulls matter in and then it empties out again in another direction.
